Robin Gray – Writer/Speaker

Robin Gray Bio

Robin often says that she’s been writing since she learned to put words together to create sentences. Somewhere under her bed, there is a dusty box of her old writing that goes back to second grade. Many years ago, God convicted her that her love of writing was to be used for His glory, so she shifted her focus and tries to always honor God with the words she writes.

Robin’s faith can be traced back to her maternal grandparents, Charles and Hilda Beckwith. Their devotion to God, each other, and their family created a strong foundation for who Robin would become. Everyone was always welcome at their table and there was no judgement in their home. Their example established a guideline for what Robin strives for in marriage and in ministry.

Ministry and connecting with people around her are an important part of Robin’s life. Along with serving beside her husband with children, youth, and young adults for many years, she served as a preschool director for nine years at Dale City Baptist Early Learning Program in Dale City, Virginia. She has lead women’s ministries and has a heart for discipling other women.  Robin has organized events and activities for children through adults, served as director of vacation bible school, assisted with administrative duties at the church, counseled and taught youth and women. She currently serves alongside her husband in family ministry at Dale City Baptist Church in Virginia and heads up the media team at the church as well.

Robin is married to her childhood sweetheart who she met on her way to the playground as a young girl. God has blessed them with an unconventional love story and three beautiful daughters that have never allowed life to be boring.  Although she has only given birth to three daughters, she has welcomed many children into her heart to love as her own. She gets frequent calls and visits from young people she ministered to in their teens and she enjoys “grandparent status” for some of their children.

Like Jay, Robin has adopted Romans 8:28 as one of her life verses because of the many ways God has shown her blessings through her trials. Another verse that reminds her of God’s provision and protection is Psalm 27.

Robin’s writing has been included in two devotion anthologies: Mother: What My Mother Taught Me About Life, Love, and Faith and God Answers Our Prayers (Publishing October 2024).

Robin has a Bachelor of Arts in English/Writing and a Masters in Management, Organizational Leadership both from American Public University. She also holds certificates in writing for business, government and industry and organizational management.
